We Are on the Brink of the Future: But Which One?

Purpose and Benefit: The future is no longer a straight, predictable path. It’s the time of alternative scenarios, multiple possibilities, and constantly pivoting strategies. As companies, our task is not only to predict this future but also to build it together. We are in the age of technology, yes. But this age is not just about devices, algorithms, or new applications. The transformation we are going through involves not only a digital but also a sociological revolution. It’s time to rewrite Türkiye’s digital transformation with sociological codes. This presentation explains how companies can avoid falling behind in a world where groundbreaking technologies are rapidly advancing. From the microdynamics of Anatolia to global network maps, from the urban identity of Gen Z to the accumulation behaviors of an aging society, with an analysis of emerging technologies…

Seminar on Understanding the Consumers

Purpose and Benefit: In this presentation, Akan Abdula addresses the silent but powerful dynamics of change that will profoundly affect consumers in Turkey over the next 10 years. These are sometimes invisible, sometimes unnoticed currents that encompass individual and societal paradigms across many areas—from value systems and identity to consumption patterns, trust crises, and the need for belonging.

The New Ground Economy

Purpose and Benefit:

The economic turbulence we are experiencing today is not simply a crisis, it is a shift in the economic ground. The growth models, safe havens, and consumer habits we have relied on for years are no longer working in the same way. From production and technology to capital flows and consumer behavior, the world is searching for a new direction.

In this presentation, Akan Abdula offers a fresh perspective on understanding this new economic reality. The challenge is no longer just spotting opportunities, but about redefining where those opportunities arise. Capital is still abundant, more abundant than ever, but it is no longer flowing to the same places. While technology continues to accelerate change, uncertainty is reshaping consumer behavior in unexpected ways. At the same time, companies are being asked to manage today’s challenges while preparing for a future that is still taking shape.

The session begins with a simple but important question: What kind of future should we be preparing for? Rather than assuming a single outcome, it explores a range of possible futures and the different paths they may create. Along the way, we will look at how capital is shifting across regions, how technology is widening existing divides, and how new patterns of behavior are emerging among both institutions and consumers in Türkiye.

Understanding Turkey: The Cultural Codes of Decision-Making (MENTALITY)

Purpose and Benefit: Developed by House of Impact, a social data and social strategy company within the FutureBright Group, this new social data model offers a new foundation for understanding society. It invites us to explore how, despite differing perspectives on life, we can actually converge around the same mental patterns. The Mentality study, a crucial research guide for understanding Turkey, reveals that individuals in society don’t simply cluster together based on lifestyles, consumption patterns, or visible behaviors; rather, very different lifestyles and behaviors can converge around the same underlying mental patterns – that is, ways of thinking, perception schemas, and emotional reflexes. This study is a new social data model based on which commonalities are more dominant in the mental world. It is not a research product, but an infrastructure that allows us to understand society in depth.

Content:

  1. A new social data foundation for understanding Türkiye’s cultural codes
  2. Understanding social dynamics with a mentality approach
  3. Which mentalities and segments exist in Türkiye’s mind map?
  4. The meeting of artificial intelligence and mentalities
  5. Behavioral breakdown of root mentalities: What do we see in the analysis of social interests and key influencers?
  6. Case study and interactive mind exercise

Duration: 2 Hours
